Being able to swim is one of the best gifts and skills I am always grateful for. Due to my fear of large water bodies, It took me a lot of courage to give swimming a trial.
I got to learn to swim at the youthful age of twenty. Even though the swimming act does not have any age limit, at nineteen I still felt as if it wasn’t the right age or time to do something like swimming.
As a sports enthusiast, I never believed kids who are less experienced in life could inspire people more older than them. I have visited different swim meets and I have seen young kids not up to the age of ten swim like a fish, these children inspired me to give swimming a trial, and i never for once regretted learning to swim, a skill i call great and lifesaving.
